An experienced freelance translator and technical copywriter providing advanced German to English translation services and technical writing for clients around the world since 2010.

I am an ATA-certified German to English translator with over ten years of experience as a translator and technical writer.

Having grown up in the shadow of the Rocky Mountains, I learned English as my native language and acquired proficiency in German at the age of twelve. My passion for languages and fascination with technology later inspired me to study for a bachelor’s degree in German studies and an associate’s degree in technical drafting/design for manufacturing at Weber State University.

I dove straight into the world of international business after graduation, working as a freelance German translator by day and a bilingual German/English hotel sales agent by night. It was clear, however, that I still had much to learn. Two years after my international debut, I picked up and moved to Germany to study for a master of arts in “interkulturelle Germanistik” or “Intercultural German Studies” at the Universität Bayreuth.

In Germany, I continued to freelance and was hired to work as the in-house translator for the university’s International Office. After completing my degree, I returned to the United States and set up shop in the Greater Philadelphia Area. I have been helping businesses achieve international success ever since.
